The Speech Classes make Bird Boxes and Bird Feeders
16th Feb 2026
The boys and girls made bird boxes and bird feeders this morning as we were visited by the Council as part of a National Nest Box initiative.
The bird feeders have gone home with the children today. Apparently you put the bird feeder in the fridge overnight, then cut the tub off and hang the bird feeder either in your garden or in a local park.
The children were shown examples of local birds such as a robin, house sparrow and bullfinch and also got to hear the sounds each bird makes.
It was a great morning of learning and fun!
