As part of our instructional writing topic, Primary 6 children have been learning how to make a cup of tea. Our focus has been on preparing children to write a set of instructions that safely explain the sequencing and order of actions after all the required materials have been gathered. Families would be very welcome at the end of the week to see if children could practically carry this out at home as an additional homework! As good work should always be praised and rewarded, children enjoyed a small cup of tea and a biscuit as part of their reward for today.
