The Summer Fair takes place tonight, Thursday 5th June, from 6pm to 8pm.
Below you will find information about the events planned to allow you to have the best night!
Parking
There will be very limited parking onsite due to staff and stallholders. Please walk to the event if possible, if you do need to drive please park legally, safely and respectfully on surrounding streets.
Entry
Entry is free. There are 2 ways to enter this year. Either via the canteen where you will find face painters, glitter tattoos and hair twists along with tea and coffee. Alternatively, make your way down the hill beside the canteen to the rear playground.
Refreshments
This year we have a BBQ in the courtyard selling burgers and a soft drink for £5. There is also an ice-cream van, tuck shop and a couple of other tasty treats.
Craft Stalls
In our halls we have 16 craft stalls selling a wide range of wonderfully, locally local items. Our P7 pupils will also be selling their Business Beginnings products from Mrs Turtle's room and there are a couple of other groups of pupil entrepreneurs selling their handmade items at various locations around school.
Gaming Bus
In the courtyard we have a gaming bus that can hold 12 people. All consoles and games are available to play during 15 minute intervals that cost £5. Sign up a group of friends to play together and a lot of fun. You can secure your seat at a time that suits by phoning the office today, you pay at the bus where Mr Graham will be keeping things in order.
Magic Show
There will be a magician performing in the Speech classrooms at 6.30pm, 7.00pm and 7.30pm. Show last approximately 15-20 minutes and cost £2 per person or £5 per family.
Mini Farm
The mini farm can be found in the garden, located close to our Sports Day area. A visit to the farm costs £2 per person or £5 per family. Remember to be gentle with the animals as they could bite and to clean your hands when leaving.
Games
All the usual games will take place along with a few new additions.
Bouncy castles, penalty shoot, archery, football darts, hook a duck and maybe one or two more can be found out in the playground.
Toy Sale
Our used toy sale, your chance to buy back the toys you've donated (!), can be found in the P4/P5 resource area.
Plant Sale
A selection of plants that have been donated by local shops, and grown by pupils, families and staff can be found at the entry to the canteen.
Cake Sale
This can be found outside the canteen, hopefully more items will arrive today otherwise it won't last too long.
5s and 10s Game
This is always a popular game and you have the chance to win some fantastic, and not so fantastic prizes by drawing a ticket that ends in a 5 or 10. Tickets cost £1 and the game is in the large hall at the wall bars.
Raffle
Tickets for both our £1 raffle and £5 raffle will be on sale outside the canteen at the P6 classrooms. The £5 raffle runs until next Friday, 13th June and the £1 raffle, taking place tonight with prizes being drawn @ 7.45pm.
