What on earth does 6/7 mean? Why do the children keep saying it? Who knows?!
In speech2 we decided to make use of this strange craze! We had a 6/7 day!
We made 6 and 7 shapes with Lego, with cubes and with our bodies. We played an attention and listening clapping game linked to 6/7. We even had a scavenger hunt around the school looking for cards of 6, 7 and 6/7. We then made a pictogram of our findings and input our data onto the computer. We then printed off this graph, stuck it in our maths books and answered written questions on it.
It was a great day where a lot of learning took place in a relaxed and fun way!
