The day included a presentation from an Education Officer on the function of the Assembly and Executive, Laws/rules and why we need them and how young people can get involved.
We got a tour, from Education Officer Anne-Marie Fleming, of the Great Hall, the Assembly Chamber and the Senate Chamber and learnt about what happens in each room.
Pupils debated uniforms in the Chamber & questioned MLAs; Harry Harvey and Kate Nicholl about their role.
The children made us very proud with their good behaviour and insightful questions.
