School Closed - Friday 2nd March

School will be closed on Friday 2nd March.
Whilst main roads in the town have been treated we will have traffic issues within our grounds, a shortage of staff to ensure ratios due to travel from more significantly affected areas and possible issues with school dinners.
With an amber warning in place for further snow and strong winds until 10am on Friday and a red warning for freezing temperatures issued things are not going to be improve and we have therefore taken this decision to allow parents time to make alternative arrangements.
We appreciate the inconvenience another closure will cause but this decision is steered by the need to ensure the safety of all pupils, parents, grandparents and staff.
