P7 visit BeeSafe

On Tuesday morning P7 went to Ards Arena to join other primary schools from the Peninsula and experience BeeSafe. This was organised by Ards and North Down Borough Council and was aimed at preparing P7 pupils for life as they transition to post-primary schools and raise their awareness of safety issues in every-day life. Pupils listened to informative talks about safety in the home, road safety - particularly whilst travelling by bus, internet safety, fire safety, anti-social behaviour and mental health. These talks were given by the Education Authority, PSNI, NIFRS, Translink and ANDBC.
