Towards the end of last year Mr Gray informed us that we would be getting involved in a reimaging project for the three wall panels at the Spar on the Movilla Road. It was proposed that artwork was to be painted onto the three wall panels and would focus on road safety. This junction is the location where a little lad called Kai Corkum, who was aged 3 and a pupil in pre-school, was knocked down and killed in December 2018.
This week our P7 pupils got to work alongside local artists and they were able to provide designs and ideas for the project during a fun workshop on Thursday morning. Later next week some of the P7 pupils will get the opportunity to finalise some of these ideas and work alongside the local artists again, plus pupils from Abbey Primary School.
