The P7s finished off their six week bio-diversity project at Mount Stewart by tackling habitat fragmentation.
The pupils were helping preserve small trees and shrubs that were planted last year and provide a way for animals to move from one area of forest to the next.
It was a tough job but all really enjoyed the activity.
