P7 enjoy STEM - Bridge Building

P7 have really enjoyed the opportunity to do STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities which have linked in with their WAU topic on the Victorians. They have looked at the Clifton Suspension Bridge which was engineered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and then they used that bridge as the basis for designing a suspension bridge of their own. Learning to work together in a team and communicate well with each other has been so important from the initial drawing of their blue-prints right to the end of the building process. Well done to everyone for designing such fantastic structures!
