P4 Visit Castle Ward

The P4 children had their evacuee labels attached and were sent to Castle Ward on 1st February to take part in the Living History Programme 'Pack Up Your Troubles'. The children met Albert and Polly who told them all about evacuation, rationing, Land Girls and life during the Second World War. This trip supported the pupils' learning of WW2 and was a thoroughly enjoyable day!
