Our Trip to Mount Stewart

14th Nov 2025
This week the boys and girls went on a trip to Mount Stewart. During their visit to the woods and natural playpark, the children developed a range of educational skills. They enhanced their observational skills by exploring plants, trees, and wildlife. The children practised problem-solving as they navigated uneven terrain and worked out how to use natural materials in play. The experience encouraged collaboration and communication, as they shared ideas and worked together to build and create. Physical activities such as climbing and balancing supported gross motor development, while imaginative play in a natural setting fostered creativity and critical thinking. Overall, the trip provided rich opportunities for learning through exploration and hands-on experiences.
