The children loved visiting Island Hill today. The wind definitely didn't spoil our fun.
We got to see the Brent geese and the eel grass they come to feed on. The boys and girls were surprised to see how fast the tide was coming in! We explained that the island will then be cut off until it goes back out in a few hours. It was very windy and when we leaned forward it felt like we were flying!
