Mrs Hutchinson's P2/3 speech class took this week's Key Stage 1 assembly.
The children's focus was on having a 'growth mindset'.
Toby, Victoria, Oisin and Joey participated in some drama in front of all the P3 and P4 pupils (how brave!).
Victoria and Toby pretended they couldn't do their classwork and became very angry and upset. Thankfully Oisin and Joey reassured them and said 'You can't do it...yet'.
We discussed having a healthy, growth mindset where we all accept that we make mistakes and we often can't do things on the first attempt.
Today's message was to remind everyone to not give up. Remember if you can't do it, you just can't do it...yet!
The rest of the class then stood up and shared what they have got better at doing because they didn't give up.
Well done to all the boys and girls today. You were all superstars!
