NCU Super 8s

On Tuesday morning our school took part in the NCU's Super 8 Kwik Cricket Tournament at Stormont cricket ground for the first time. We played 6 games against schools from all over the country, many who have been coached for several years by local clubs.

Our relative inexperience in the sport did show in some of the games but the effort, enthusiasm and indeed the enjoyment was not bettered by any of the other sides.

It was a superb morning in glorious sunshine and I know all our players really enjoyed the experience.
There are clubs in the local area that could help your child get involved in the sport over the summer and I've been in contact today with NCU to try and organise coaching for next year.
