The reason for the “meteorite” strike was the World Around Us topic of Space that Mrs Turtle’s class have started this term.
Part of the topic always involves a trip to the Armagh Planetarium that was scheduled for last Wednesday.
The pupils took part in workshops, watched their fantastic light show and toured the Planetarium but also this year were privileged to meet some of the astronomers who told them all about meteorites and how many had actually landed in Northern Ireland.
