Castle Gardens were one of the successful schools to experience the story of Viscount Castlereagh at Mount Stewart House today. This celebration included a guided tour of the house to mark the 200th anniversary (1769-1822) of the death of Viscount Castlereagh. This exhibition provided an introduction to the life of this complex man who lived in extraordinary times and believed he was striving for the greater good. P7 explored his life and legacy through his family, politics and role as a statesman.
