Celebrating VE Day 80th Anniversary

We celebrated VE day this week. The children had a street party over break-time and played games from the 1940's. They learned how to play Hopscotch, In and Out of the Dusty Bluebells, A Farmer Wants a Wife, Queenio and Red Rover. We talked about why we celebrate VE day and painted poppies on pebbles. The weather has been beautiful and the children have enjoyed being out in the sunshine.
