Open Morning Castle Gardens Primary School and Pre-school will be hosting an Open Morning on Saturday 10th January from 10am to 1130am.  This is an opportunity for families to come along who were unable to attend our Open Afternoon in December, or indeed due to Storm Bram were unable to view our extensive school grounds.  Join us on our Open Morning and connect with staff, governors, parents, and pupils and discover how our extended wraparound care, enriching extra-curricular activities, and outstanding academic results have made Castle Gardens P.S. the fastest-growing school in Newtownards. Please complete this form below to book a place at the event. Castle Gardens After-School Gymnastics Club

It gives me great pleasure to be able to announce that, from January 2017, we will be teaming up with Rathgael Gymnastics & Tumbling Club in Bangor to offer gymnastics as an additional after-school club in Castle Gardens Primary School.

The sessions will be led by experienced Rathgael coaches and held on Thursday afternoons for all pupils in P1 to P7.

Membership is open to all children in the local area and whilst pupils from other schools will have to pay a fee, the sessions will be FREE for pupils attending Castle Gardens. All children will have to have British Gymnastics Insurance that costs £17 per person.

The timings for the sessions are:

P1                                           2.15pm to 2.45pm

P2                                           2.45pm to 3.15pm

P3 & P4                                   3.15pm to 4pm

P5                                           4pm to 4.45pm

P6 & P7                                   4.45pm to 5.30pm

To sign up, parents will need to register on a closed Facebook group  called Castle Gardens After School Gymnastics Club. Places are limited to 30 per session and they will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 

Being a pupil of Castle Gardens will not guarantee a place so I would encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible as all administration will be handled by the staff of Rathgael Gymnastics & Tumbling Club. 

There will be a demonstration by members of Rathgael mini section at our Open Night on Thursday 8th December and their staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.
