P7 concluded their Action Mental Health 'Our Generation' program with a visit to Kilcooley Community Centre. The children participated in a series of games and challenges with pupils from St. Malachy's PS in Bangor. Huge thanks goes to Stevie Walker, from Action Mental Health, who has led the previous 5 sessions at school where pupils have been taught the benefits of looking after their mental health through a wide range of interactive sessions. Many of these skills will help prepare them for future challenges.
We had the unexpected surprise of travelling to the event in the Northern Ireland football team bus, much to the the delight of staff and pupils!
