At this morning's assembly we celebrated Mathletics successes from December and January. Lots of pupils received their first silver, gold or platinum certificates. Special mention must go to Phoebe Keatings, from P5, who is the first in the school to receive an Emerald certificate. This is an amazing achievement!
The top class in Key Stage 1 was again Mrs Alcorn's P4 class, scoring over 40,000 points during December and January. New winners in Key Stage 2 were Mrs Wilson's class who scored over 49,000 points. Well done to all the pupils for working so hard at Mathletics.
Next month we will not focus on points, but we will be looking for accuracy and checking to see if pupils score more than 85% correct in their tasks. Please keep encouraging your child to complete their weekly tasks and have some fun on Live Mathletics too.
